I just wanted to send a quick email following on from our Christmas lunch which
we had with yourselves on Monday. The setting was beautiful and the meal delicious
so we would like to send our thanks to all the staff, especially the chef and the
waiting-on staff who offered just the right level of attentiveness. The only issue
was that we all got stuck trying to get home however the snow looked beautiful while
we were sat in the Morning Room.
All my colleagues thoroughly enjoyed themselves and I have been told that I will
have to go a long way to better it for next Christmas!!

I just thought I'd drop a line for you to forward to the manager of the Elvetham please.
The new years eve ball we attended was just the most superb night. The whole evening
was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Plenty of champagne on arrival and
canapés. The dinner was excellent, the service could not have been better. The
waitering staff were extremely pleasant and well briefed. The music was really good.
In fact I could not fault anything about the evening what so ever. Another truly
fabulous event I have attended at the Elvetham.
Just as a matter of interest, I very recently attended a very expensive function at another
hotel - You knock spots of them!!
Many, many thanks for providing a spectacular evening for us all to remember.

singer, band, DJ. food etc. were all perfect, so thank you.

reception, food, service and great band, the two girl singers were brilliant. I have
to say that in particular the staff do such a good job, this has been exceptional
every year, and that speaks volumes for your management. Please pass on our thanks
and best wishes for a happy new year. Finally the two couples with us on our table
were good company and said they will come back next year, so same again please table
of 10 sorted.

I have to tell you that we had a GREAT time at New Year! It was our second party at
the Elvetham over Christmas and it really did not disappoint on ANY level. The hotel
and party room looked really lovely, staff were suberb, food and wine were great, and
arriving with bacon rolls after midnight was a lifesaver! You even managed – very
cleverly – to put us on a table together with a perfectly lovely group of people!

What a night, it was fantastic, food and service was outstanding all night. your chefs
produced top class beef, as well as starters and dessert. all the waitresses were
amazing for the whole evening. our other table guests, leon,joanne,nick and sharon
were good fun and we all enjoyed each others company. every new year at the elvetham
just gets better, and better and that says it all. thank you to everyone, and a happy

I just wanted to let you know how successful New Year's Eve was as far as the TVR Car
Club was concerned. The universal opinion was that it was the best New Year's Eve party
anyone had been to!
We really did appreciate all the hard work you put into the making sure that everything
went smoothly and it certainly paid off. Everyone was really touched by the TVR logos
on the table and the staff on duty on the night really rose the occasion and looked
after us superbly. I know how much effort you put into ensuring that we had sorted out
all our wines and special dietary requirements in advance and that was much appreciated
by everyone on the night. Everyone also remarked on how good the food was which when
you are catering for so many people at once, was certainly not easy.
I have written to Michelle to say that I am pretty sure we will be looking to come
again next year and to keep me informed as to when we need to start making
reservations. It was such a great evening we’re not sure how you can better it again
next year!

I just wanted to let you know that New Year’s Eve was a total and complete success and
everybody said it was the very best New Year’s Eve Party they had been to! When you
take a large party to an event, there is usually somebody who finds something to have
a niggle about but I can honestly say that there has not be one negative comment at
all. The service was superb and the music was brilliant and whole evening ran like
clockwork. Another comment was how good the food was which considering you were serving
300 plus, this was most impressive. The fact too that you were able to cater for some
of our stranger dietary requests was also greatly appreciated.
Please pass our grateful thanks to all those involved in making it such a great way to
bid farewell to 2009 and welcome 2010. I shall write to Carrie separately but she
certainly did everything possible to ensure that all our arrangements were in place in
good time and that everything went smoothly.
With 2010/2011 in mind, I think it is very likely that the TVR Club will want to come
again next year (though how you could top this year’s event, heaven knows!). Please let
me know when I need to start making reservations.
