The Elvetham Grounds

The Elvetham has 35 acres of beautiful gardens filled with different types of flowers and trees.

The Formal Gardens has a beautiful lawn and a large terrace. In the centre of the garden, there used to be a Magnolia tree which was the second biggest in England!

Our Sunken Garden has a small pond and beautiful rose beds. The roses were so lovely that they were mentioned in a magazine in 1894 called "The Gardening World".

The edge of the lake created for Queen Elizabeth I is now called The Hidden Garden and is planted with colourful flowers called Azalea's.
