The Bell Tower

Kid's Corner Activity

The Bell Tower

A church was first recorded at The Elvetham back in 1086, and it was probably a simple wooden building with a thatched roof.

In 1638, William Seymour, who was the last Seymour to own The Elvetham, rebuilt the church. The oldest church records we have are from 1648.

So, The Bell Tower has been around for a very long time and has seen many changes over the centuries!
